چکیده
Standard physical therapy (SPT) with ground gait training is well recognized to improve the motor skill in cerebral palsy (CP) disease. Confirmation required on achieving better gross function partial body weight supported treadmill (PBWSTT). The objective of study analyze combination SPT PBWSTT for children spastic diplegic CP who able walk. A prospective design was conducted patients 2-7 years age Gross Motor Function Classification System (GMFCS) I-III and received 2 times per week, 20 minutes session, a total sessions. treatment group continued by session. Measure (GMFM)-66 walking, running, jumping (dimension E) measured pre post-physical therapy. Data were analyzed descriptively. There 10 subjects divided into 5 control rest group. mean 48.4 months 63.4 respectively. Average score GMFM-66 dimension E post-SPT 63.54 65.24, difference 1.7 (2.67%) from initial score.

Treadmill training with partial body-weight support in children with cerebral palsy: a systematic review.
AIM The aim of this systematic review was to examine the literature on the effects of partial body-weight support treadmill training (PBWSTT) in children with cerebral palsy (CP) on functional outcomes and attainment of ambulation. METHOD We searched the relevant literature from 1950 to July 2007. We found eight studies on the use of PWSBTT on functional outcomes in children with CP. The meth...

PURPOSE This study was designed to investigate changes in endurance, functional gait, and balance after intensive body weight-supported treadmill training in children with CP who were ambulatory. METHODS Six school-aged children with CP (four boys, two girls; age range: six to 14 years) participated in an intensive program of body weight-supported treadmill training 30 minutes twice daily for...
متن کاملDynamic Balance During Gait in Children With Spastic Diplegic Cerebral Palsy Versus Normal Children
Purpose: Cerebral Palsy (CP) can negatively affect dynamic stability in children with spastic diplegic Cerebral Palsy during walking. This condition results in a high risk of falling. There is limited evidence regarding the dynamic stability of children with Cerebral Palsy. Thus, this study aimed to investigate the dynamic stability of children with spastic diplegic Cerebral Palsy, compared to ...

Background: A lot of the ambulating children with spastic diplegia were able to walk with flexed hips, knees and ankles this gait pattern is known as crouch gait. The most needed functional achievement of diplegic children habilitation is to be able to walk appropriately. The development of an independent and efficient walking is one of the main objectives for children with cerebral palsy espec...
